On 26-28 April 2010, the second conference on Strategies agains Counterfeit Medicine was organised in Heidelberg, Germany.
The conference informed about the implementation of Counterfeit Protection Systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
Objectives
The aim of this conference was to present both the regulatory authorities' activities and the pharmaceutical industry's activities to develop and establish appropriate counterfeit protection systems. The conference focused on effective and affordable strategies, collaboration among regulators and pharmaceutical industry, and discussions
about actions in the global fight against counterfeit were held.
